Welcome to Jefferson Lab's Graduate Student and Post-Doc Association Wiki

The Graduate Student and Post-Doc Association (GSPDA) consists of Students and Post-Docs from the Jefferson Lab community.

It is led by a committee of volunteers who assist and engage in activities throughout the year.

JSA Initiative funds have been awarded again to this group which allow for a certain amount of lunch seminars.

We meet up on Thursdays at noon in the CEBAF atrium.

GSPDA Coffee Break

Come work with other students and postdocs in a quiet environment. If you feel like you have trouble focusing on your own or feel like you never get to interact with other people at the lab, then the GSPDA coffee breaks are a perfect opportunity!

We will have a room reserved for a few hours each week for people to come work on their own tasks. We encourage people to bring their laptop and their headphones and get to work! Feel free to come and go as you please!

At 3:30pm we will put out free coffee and snacks. There will be disposable cups, but you're encouraged to bring your own cup!

Whether you just want to drop by for some free coffee or do some focus work for a few hours, all are welcome!
