Summer Picnic

July 22nd 3pm-5pm in the CC Atrium.

Users Group Meeting

The 2014 JLab User's Group Annual Meeting will take place on June 2-4th at Jefferson Lab. The program includes a variety of physics talks, presentations from the User Group Board, laboratory management and funding agencies, and Prize winners. Featured speakers will include: Brad Filippone (California Institute of Technology), Chris Sheehy (University of Chicago), Mike Williams (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and Bob Wiringa (Argonne National Laboratory).

Your participation is important, and we strongly urge everyone to register now (http://conferences.jlab.org/ugm/index.html), and make plans to attend. We particularly encourage graduate students to attend the annual meeting. The Jefferson Science Associates Initiatives Fund has again sponsored our waiving student registration fees. We will again have special lunch discussions for the graduate students where free food is available each day of the meeting.

Medical Health Insurance

Please be aware that many university and state medical insurance plans do not provide coverage if you are away from the institution or out-of-state. Check your current medical insurance plan to confirm medical coverage is provided during your stay at JLab.

If your plan does not provide coverage, please email your name to jris@jlab.org and someone will be in touch with information about medical coverage during your stay at the Laboratory.
